On April 23, 2017, the Nutley Thriving Survivors, Inc., dedicated a Memorial Garden in the name of those who lost their battle with breast cancer. The Garden is located on Vincent Place across from Town Hall. It is a beautiful raised garden in the shape of a breast cancer ribbon, with pink impatiens. The garden blooms all summer and into the fall. Photos may be seen on facebook at Nutley Thriving Survivors, Inc.
Surrounding the ribbon are bricks engraved in the name of loved ones lost to this disease. In the landscaping surrounding the garden are plaques in the name of corporate sponsors who have generously contributed to the Garden.
